Club Meetings Open to Members Only
October 1 Field Trip 9:30 a.m.
Liz Youngflesh, owner of Garden Glories Nursery: Liz Youngflesh will be guiding us through her nursery with a presentation about Australian plants, alstroemeria, and other specialty plants. Liz is a member of the San Diego Horticultural Society. She introduced the alstroemeria “Jena,” a blend of white, green and lavender-pink. Plants will be available for purchase. After the presentation and tour, we will gather at Ciao’s Italian restaurant for lunch. Our carpool will meet at the home of Melody Huelsebusch in Carlsbad.
March 4 11:30 a.m.
Jane Knapp is hosting our March St. Patrick’s Day meeting and luncheon in her home and garden. Jane is going to treat us to corned beef sandwiches and dessert. We will bring salads and anything else she may need. Jane has been a part of our garden tour more than once. Her memorial garden is filled with beautiful plants, ponds, secret places and garden art. What a gracious invitation.

This annual Summer Garden Party will be at a member’s home. Bring a dish to share and a serving utensil. The day and further details will be announced.
