Club Meetings Open to Members and Their Guests
September 4, 2009
Once again our first meeting of the year will feature our own garden club members, teaching us how to use/recycle our garden produce. Cindy Phillips and Helena Gilmore will demonstrate unique garden crafts while Barbara Diamond plans on giving us a taste treat and recipe for making delicious Italian syrup. Lots of time for socializing, too, in our new meeting place at Dove Library.

We will be participating in the Cole Library Book Sale by the Friends of the Library. While they’re offering their "better" used books, we’ll be selling plants and garden related items outside in the patio outside the Community Room. The purpose is to meet the public, spread the word on "water wise" gardens and benefit the horticulture scholarship.
